Online discipleship

The Greek word 'disciple' simply means learner.

You can learn about the Christian faith by coming to Church, reading the Bible and joining small study groups. But you can also learn a lot about the Christian faith online too.

First, you can subscribe to the Vicar's posts by subscribing here https://www.martineoborne.com When you subscribe you will receive a post by email once a week which will help you to reflect on your faith.

Secondly, there are lots of Appd you can use and Podcasts you can listen to. Here are some recommended by a member of our congregation, Dan Blackwell:

*Apps

The Bible App - I use this every day! It’s a great, free Bible app. Easy interface. You can read in many versions. You can search for various plans/devotionals to help you with daily reading habits and particular topics.

UCB Player - a digital radio station (UCB1 and UCB2). It’s a great DAB radio station in terms of variety of music, from traditional to modern styles, with devotionals and talks every day. They also always talk about the news and pray and discuss relevant topics from a Christian perspective. Get it on the App Store, online and on digital radio.
