St Michael’s Retreat at Wychcroft 20-22 April 2018

Bletchingley: 20-22 April 2018

What is the Retreat?

A weekend away for up to 33 people (aged over 16yrs) during which we will reflect together on our faith and have a day of quiet, waiting on God.

The retreat will be led by the Vicar and Christopher Chapman, an experienced retreat leader and spiritual director, who trained at St. Beuno's Spiritual Exercises Centre and Heythrop College. It will be an opportunity for God, through the power of his Holy Spirit, to affirm our faith and deepen our spirituality.

What is the theme of the Retreat?
The theme of this year’s retreat is ‘Holy daring.’

We will use artwork, poetry and biblical based prayer to explore what it might mean for us to take up the adventure of following Christ.

Christopher Chapman says, ‘We go so far in our discipleship – but do we live by ‘holy daring’? And what might happen for us if we did so?
